Our most important relationship is with our Creator. God created us to have a relationship with Him. As we engage in Bible study and read God’s written word, we confirm God’s original intent for us, our purpose on earth, and our rights as children of God in the Kingdom of God. The more we know and understand about God, the closer we get to Him. It is God’s desire for us to know His Word in the context in which it was written. The only way to know the will of God is to know the Word of God. The Word of God, referred to as scripture written by men who yielded their spirits to articulate the spoken Words of God, has often been misquoted, manipulated, and diluted, which can lead to misunderstandings of the Word of God. All the answers we need to overcome life’s challenges and struggles are found in the Word of God. God has provided us with over 2,700 topics in the Bible for us to govern our lives by and release His power in our lives, over 600 promises of the Bible for us to stand on, and over 150 prophecies of the Bible for us to watch come to pass. "Topics, Promises, and Prophecies of the Bible" is a vital reference book designed to assist in studying the Bible. This resource is formatted in the order of the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation, making it easier to dive into a specific topic within the Bible.

New York, NY — January 22, 2026 — Author and Bible teacher Cheryl L. Jubrey presents Topics, Promises, and Prophecies of the Bible, a thoughtfully organized Bible study reference book created to support believers in their pursuit of deeper scriptural understanding. Designed as a practical companion to the Word of God, the
book provides clear guidance for locating key biblical themes, promises, and prophecies throughout the entirety of Scripture.
Structured in canonical order from Genesis through Revelation, Topics, Promises, and Prophecies of the Bible allows readers to study Scripture with clarity and intention. Rather than offering commentary or interpretation, the book functions as a reference tool, directing readers to the specific passages where biblical topics, divine promises, and prophetic declarations appear. This format encourages direct engagement with Scripture while
reducing confusion and fragmentation during study. The book is especially valuable for individuals who desire to trace God’s faithfulness, covenant promises, and prophetic plan across both the Old and New Testaments. By organizing references according to the flow of Scripture, Jubrey helps readers see the continuity of God’s Word and the unfolding of His purposes over time.
This approach supports thematic study without removing passages from their biblical context.
The inspiration behind Topics, Promises, and Prophecies of the Bible stems from Jubrey’s passion for helping believers study the Word with confidence and accuracy. Recognizing that many readers struggle to locate relevant passages during personal study or teaching preparation, she created a resource that simplifies the
process while honoring the integrity of Scripture.
Written for personal devotion, group study, and teaching environments, the reference book is suitable for believers at all stages of faith. It supports pastors, teachers, small group leaders, and individual readers who want a dependable tool to assist in sermon preparation, lesson planning, or focused Bible reading. Rather than replacing Scripture, Topics, Promises, and Prophecies of the Bible enhances engagement with it.
The book encourages readers to explore the Bible directly, fostering spiritual growth through consistent, informed study.

A debut reference book aims to make navigating the Bible easy. All the answers to life’s questions are waiting to be found in the Bible, according to Jubrey: “God has provided us with over 2,700 topics in the Bible for us to govern our lives by and elease His power in our lives, over 600 promises for us to
stand on, and over 150 prophecies for us to watch come to pass.” Even so, the author recognizes that finding a specific bit of wisdom can be like searching for a needle in a haystack, which is why she has assembled this comprehensive
reference guide. It is a grand index for the Bible, in which readers can locate the specific chapters and verses dealing with the eponymous topics, promises, and prophecies. The book offers two formats depending on what readers are looking for.
The first is essentially a summary of the entire Bible in list form, in which Jubrey supplies a few words on what happens in each consecutive section. “Genesis 1:1-2:1 God creates the heaven and the earth / Genesis 2:2-17 God creates Adam /
Genesis 2:18-25 God makes Eve / Genesis 3:1-24 Adam and Eve sin / Genesis 3:15 / Genesis 4:1-26 Cain kills Abel.” When the passage contains a prophecy, like Genesis 3:15, the author underlines it. When a passage features a promise,
it receives a double underline. In the second half of the volume, Jubrey includes three indexes: one of promises, one of prophecies, and one of topics. The promises and prophecies are listed according to the order they appear in the Bible; the
topics are listed alphabetically. The author’s thoroughness is highly impressive—one imagines she read the entire Bible line by line to complete this ambitious and earnest book. Unfortunately, it is not the most obvious or user-friendly
reference work. Readers will likely wonder: What exactly makes a prophecy distinct from a promise? For someone curious as to the content of a specific verse or the mention of a particular subject, it seems that a quick Google search would be
faster and more elucidating than the short entries in these pages. An all-inclusive but somewhat antiquated reference text for Bible topics.
